Skin aging - Evolution

30 years old / Age 30

The dermis begins to lose its collagen and elasticity from the age of 30 or even earlier depending on certain factors (genetics, lifestyle). The wrinkle that runs from the nose to the corner of the mouth (nasolabial wrinkle) begins to deepen. The skin becomes slightly looser.  Appropriate cabin treatments should be prescribed once a month and the JOH Cosmetic home protocol (Cleanse, moisturize and protect) should be recommended for optimum results.

A weekly gentle exfoliation on healthy skin helps to prepare the skin and allows for better absorption of the products applied afterwards.

At thr office, Johan recommends the JOH Enzyme Peel. His "double fruit" enzymatic peel is acid-free. A treatment rich in antioxidants that incorporates a marine extract from French coastal waters that improves the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen.

Can be done all year round. JohBeauty's must-have!

40 years old / Age 40

Expression lines begin to appear in the forties due to slower cell renewal, which causes the epidermis to slacken. Folds appear on the forehead. Crow's feet appear at the end of the eyes and, depending on facial expressions, they may be more pronounced. As the sun is a cause of premature skin aging, the skin must be treated according to individual cases.

JOH cabin and home cosmetic treatments are more targeted, a deeper exfoliation must be considered, we also stick to the JOH Cosmetic protocol (cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize and protect). Hyaluronic acid is an essential ingredient for this age group because the skin produces less sebum and begins to dehydrate. Depending on the advice of your Joh Skin Consult, more aggressive mechanical or chemical exfoliations can be considered. Cell renewal is the ideal technique.

High-tech treatments are recommended to stimulate collagen and to treat blemishes, and an antioxidant cosmetic regimen should be prescribed. Retinol is a good answer if it is well advised. At JohBeauty, complementary products allow to avoid undesirable effects on certain types of more sensitive skins.

50 years old / Age 50

Identified problems:

- Increase in the number of spots.

- Increase in mouth folds, double chin.

- Increased sagging of the corner of the mouth and the tip of the nose.

- Increase in the double chin.

- Deepening of the nasolabial folds.

IPL treatments (pulsed light, lasers, peelings) are recommended to erase the spots, an antioxidant cosmetic regime is prescribed with glycolic acid and retinol. Chemical exfoliation provides superior exfoliation to activate and renew the cells.

60 years old / Age 60

The skin becomes thinner and flabbier. The eyelids become more and more flaccid, they sag. Spots are more and more numerous.

Laser treatments, peels, and higher concentrations of certain ingredients are highly recommended to delay and reverse the signs of aging.
